To our Philomusica family

I am writing in my role as the president of our organization.  I am so excited to begin our Spring 2024 concert series.  We’re bringing you some wonderful new music (and some of your old favorites) under the baton of our recently appointed music director, Emma Daniels.  Emma hails from Chicago, is a graduate of Westminster Choir College and she is leading us to new heights.  The compliments keep rolling in. I'm proud to have had a small part in our group’s success myself from the back row of the bass section.

If you've enjoyed our music as an audience member, or if you've been a member of our choir , then you have played an important role in our journey.  We are still rebuilding post-pandemic.  We've lost a share of our audience due to health concerns about public gatherings.  As everyone comes back to the theatre, movies, and live entertainment, we’re growing our choir audience and membership as well.   We're investing in exciting new music, hiring wonderful talent to accompany us, and rehearsing our hearts out to make it all come together.
